Walking through the Prater

The Prater Park is a historical public park in Vienna’s 2nd district, and people usually call “Prater”.

This park is easily recognized for the giant Ferris wheel (Wiener Riesenrad) at the entrance, which is one of Vienna’s most popular tourist attraction and symbolizes the city for many people.

A ride on this fascinating and imposing structure is a must-do for most Vienna visitors. The park is very easy to get to from most places in the city with the underground.

For me, this is a great place to go when the sun is shining in Vienna. You can go with your friends, family or even by yourself (which i like to do a lot). There you’ll find a lot of things to do and if the weather is nice you could just sit and enjoy the moment.

I am the kind of person who usually needs a “break”. A break from reality, a break from my friends, a break for myself, and that is what I like the most of Vienna. Here, you can give yourself a break almost everywhere.

Most of the time I don’t really know what I am doing, or if I am doing the right things. I have wasted some huge amount of my life thinking and questioning myself about life and my decisions driving myself crazy with all the anxiety and overthinking and there is always a point where I need to breath and enjoy the little moments, so that is also why I decided to open a blog. Here I will share this “breaks” I’ll be having with whoever wants to read them.

Life is short and complicated but is also beautiful if you know where to look. 🙂
